The Village
The road to Branscombe descends one of the longest and prettiest combes in England.
St. Winifred's church on the right is Norman and the Old Forge (a working blacksmith's), Church Living (mentioned in the Domesday book), the Thatched Bakery and Tea Rooms in the village square are National Trust properties. The village boasts two splendid public houses, the Mason’s Arms and the Fountain Head, a playing field with children's play area and a hard tennis court.
